A collection of photos of our horses and members!
Horses and horsemanship have a long history at Kenyon College, dating back to the original equitation program of 1934. Our modern team was founded in 1996. It has grown tremendously as a competitive club sport while still maintaining a commitment to our original inclusivity. We welcome everyone, regardless of riding experience or ability, and it is precisely our resulting diversity that makes us such an extraordinary presence on campus and in the show ring. We are a registered team with the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA), and we attend 6-8 shows every year. Back in Gambier, all members take weekly or biweekly lessons and participate in various fundraisers and activities we host throughout the academic year for the Kenyon campus and the general community, from pancake fundraisers and movie nights to hayrides and our famous Pony Rides.
We would love to hear from you! Whether it's answering questions, addressing concerns, or just listening to comments, we are happy to accept any and all feedback. You can reach us most easily by our email, which is checked regularly.
